Short Bio
Erica Deiparine-Sugars has worked with independent media makers and media arts communities to support diverse voices and stories for the last 20+ years. As the previous Sr. Director of Programs for the Austin Film Society (AFS) and former Managing Director of Programming and Productions at ITVS, she has lead filmmaker grants and artist development programs as well as industry partnerships. She has served on funding panels for organizations such as the National Endowment for the Arts and the International Documentary Association and has participated in film juries and panels for regional and national film festivals and arts organizations.
