ABOUT our  programs:

Women in Film & TV Austin is passionate about empowering you to grow, thrive, and celebrate your personal and professional journeys. Our programs provide a rich blend of educational resources, career advancement tools, personal self-development, and a supportive, inclusive community. We believe in honoring every step of your path to unlocking your full potential. Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills, advance your career, help others learn, or connect with inspiring peers, we're here to support you every step of the way.

"Lunch & Learn"

Lunch & Learn is a virtual learning series that brings industry experts straight to your screen. These master-class-style sessions cover a wide range of topics—think accounting, legal, distribution, casting, and beyond. Each session is crafted to help you build your skills, expand your knowledge, and gain practical tools to fuel your professional growth, all in a convenient and engaging format.

"Brave Conversations"

Brave Conversations is all about creating a space where women in our industry can tackle tough topics, face challenges head-on, and grow together. With guidance from experts and the strength of shared experiences, this series provides a safe and supportive environment to have the real, meaningful conversations that matter. It’s more than just a program—it’s a catalyst for personal and professional growth and a way to build deeper connections within our community.

"Listening In"

Listening In invites members to engage in intimate fireside chats with some of the industry's most accomplished female creatives, turning the traditional expert panel on its head by fostering a personal and relaxed dialogue among friends. This unique setup not only reveals the remarkable personal stories, thoughts, and insights of these leading figures but also encourages a dynamic exchange of inspiring ideas through open Q&A sessions.

"Mentorship Program"

Our bi-annual mentorship program connects members in a powerful one-to-one framework and bridges the gap between women across the spectrum of their careers - from industry veterans to novices just beginning their journey, and those bravely transitioning to new careers later in life. This structure cultivates a vibrant exchange of knowledge and experiences between mentees and mentors, building a one-of-a-kind environment where support and growth thrive, fueled by the diverse strengths and inspiring insights of our community members.
