Why We're Here
Being an actor is not just a profession—it’s a powerful, vulnerable, and deeply personal journey. And as women in the industry, we often carry the weight of expectations, instability, and invisibility. The WIFT Austin Actors Club was created as a space of support, expansion, and elevation—for women to not only be seen, but to grow, thrive, and celebrate their multifaceted gifts.
This is more than a club. It’s a community of women honoring women, where we support each other’s craft, encourage each other’s personal growth, and expand the unique capacities and talents that already exist within us.

About Your Host – Alizah
I'm an actress and entrepreneur, and the founder of the nonprofit media company Media of Society Inc. After years working in Los Angeles, I brought my craft to Bollywood in India, and now call Austin home. I’m also the creator of Acting for Awareness, an acting-for-personal-development method that blends storytelling with self-discovery. I teach yoga and wellness, and believe that a strong mindset, a healthy body, and a loving community are the foundation for success in this industry. I’m excited to bring this holistic, supportive approach to our WIFT family.
