Short Bio
Julia Barnett is a director, writer, and actress, Her acting credits include Nashville, Fear the Walking Dead, and Law & Order SVU,. Barnett made her directorial debut with Chasing Grace at the SXSW TV & Film Festival. Her feature as writer/director, A Christmas In New Hope is currently in post production in Texas. Barnett is also in development on the TV series, The Tomorrow Children, based on her short film and book series, Slum Angel. Much of Barnett’s storytelling stems from over two decades of work supporting marginalized communities as the Chief Creative Director of the African Children’s Choir.
