I am Malinda, a passionate filmmaker with a diverse background in the industry. With experience as a Key Production Assistant, 1st Assistant Camera, Assistant Director, Camera Operator, and Director, I bring a unique perspective to each project I work on. I am dedicated to using storytelling to shed light on important social issues and bring them to life on screen.
In addition to my work in film, I am also an award-winning photographer and have had my short films showcased at SXSW's community showing. From documentaries like "While the City Sleeps" to narratives such as "Life's Student," I strive to capture the world around me creatively and authentically.
My dedication to artistic vision and social justice drives me to create impactful stories that challenge perspectives.
