Short Bio
I worked in Marketing Communications for the majority of 20 years focusing on event production. I left the field to pursue my passion of filmmaking. I am currently attending Texas State University to pursue a BA in Film and finished a six-month masterclass workshop in Script Supervising. I am a big advocate for supporting indie film through Seed & Spark and have been listed as Executive Producer, Associate Producer and Producer on IMDB for my contributions. My love is in writing and directing, although with my event experience, I'm naturally great at Production. I have also volunteered as a film screener for the Austin Film Festival and am the mom-ager for my daughter, Betty Jo Austin (Acclaim Talent). I am also a proud board member of WIFT Austin as of Oct. 2023.
