Short Bio
Janelle Lee (Vergara) Austin is an Austin-based filmmaker specializing in directing, writing, and script supervision. Her student film at Texas State University won Best Texas Short Film at the Comedy Film Festival in April 2024, received an Honorable Mention at the ATX Short Film Showcase, and is nominated for several awards at the 2024 Austin Under the Stars Film Festival.
