I’m Manisha Israni, an award-winning filmmaker and media strategist with a passion for empowering underrepresented voices, particularly women overcoming adversity. My work spans over two decades in content creation, directing, producing and strategic communication, with films like Neenu and Carlos Luna: Colors of Freedom receiving critical acclaim. Beyond directing and producing, I’m passionate about editing and sound design, which I believe are critical to shaping a compelling narrative.
With a global upbringing , I’m driven to tell stories that challenge societal norms and celebrate resilience. As a member of Women in Film & Television Austin, I’m committed to fostering a creative and collaborative environment where women can thrive in film and media, breaking barriers and building bridges through authentic storytelling.
